Erythrinus erythrinus and black water

Hello !

Ive decided to re-start my empty 30g(i know its little, but ive decided to keep serrasalmus compressus in 80 galons instead) tank and i wanted to make black water biotope.
Do wolf fish can live in such water ? In this tea-like water ? (im not going to use peat, so pH wont be so low, im not going to use RO water aswell, so water will not be super soft)

If you are simply looking for a tannin rich tank, virtually any fish would be okay in it. Before I really knew about fish, I used blackwater extract with fish that prefer high pH and hard water and they never had any problems.

Wolf fish come from blackwaters, in the wild they can live in small drying up puddles.
