im giving up on my idea of a crowded tank.:nilly:
im gonna try my hand at keeping several red wolfs together and maybe even breed them.
ive kept them before and know the basic requirements.
but does anyone know at what size they mature?
plus whats the optimum ph for breeding?
thanks.

they mature at around 6'' i think not sure about ph or if they have been breed would be really cool though good luck

cool.
then its gonna take a long time to grow those that im buying.
it would be cool if i could breed them.
since no one has yet. :grinyes:

i would go with whatever their native waters are at pH around 6.8-7.0 and nitrogen cycle products as close to 0 as possible. let us know if you have any success cuse i would bet you would sell babies for a pretty penny:naughty::naughty:

im cycling the new tank for a bit. (although its actually been used for a few years by my uncle)
hope i can breed them.
but first i gotta find em.
i saw quite a few in the lfs and they all disappeared in a matter of days.

yeah same here lol i'm cycleing a tank for one also and i saw some and they wen't pretty quick
