Any wolf tends to be a pretty messy eater and unless you want to gravel vac/water change after every feeding, I'd go with a bigger tank. I'm not too sure how fast these guys grow since I have only had mine for a few weeks now. I was wondering if anyone has kept multiples of these guys long term. They were beating on each other at the LFS I got mine from so I was hesitant about getting 2 but I would like to keep 2 if possible.

they get to around 8 inches.
so a 40g would be good.
they grow very slowly.
i used to keep 3 red wolves together but with alot of hiding spots.
they tend to be more aggressive towards each other than gold wolves are.
