I have read all over here plus other sources that the smaller wolf species can peacefully coexist with other types of fish just as mean or bigger. But given enough tank space can a Erythrinus Peru peacefully coexist with an Erythrinus Erythrinus equally the same size?

yeah in a large tank they could go together if you had alot of hideing spots and things to break up the line of sight you could pull it off Dithers would help alot

I would recomend a group for sure get 4-5 of them and a large tank 125-180 gallon ish but you might be able to pull it off in a small tank

Remember it only takes one bad wolf to spoil a comunity theres a good possiblity that you'll get a very aggressive one and it will start fights so be prepared to move these wolfs out of the tank

Yeah, Dang it! I was wondering the same thing. Guessing it may not be "do-able"

we'll its do able you just have to weed out the aggressive ones or have lots of hideing spots and dithers

Trial and error really

my three ery's have been getting along well for several months now. two are ery ery and one is ery sp. peru. they are in a 55 gal right now. there is a small 2 in cory cat in there that has been with them since they were about 3 inches. they are about 4.5 - 5 inches now and they eat feeders bigger than him but don't bother him. strange.

Actually that cory cat was left in there to be a feeder and it seems now they tolerate him. I keep them well fed for the most part but I wonder how or why the leave him be and eat other feeders the same size or bigger than him.

They are ALWAYS hungry. They could be stuffed and bloated looking from feeders/worms/beef heart/crickets or whatever and they will still eat the pellets I drop in for the cory.

Its nothing special. I had intended for it to be only temporary for them because I have another 55g right beside it that I'd planned to any unruly ery to but so far everything has worked. i'll post a pic up later.
