Erythromycin and sharks?

Hey folks. Had a customer ask me if anti-cyanobacteria treatments for marine tanks containing EM were safe with sharks/rays? As I had no idea either way, I'd thought I'd post the question here and see if anyone had experience with this.

I did a quick check and form what I can find Erythromycin has been used with no illeffects on sharks/rays.

I've never heard of a problem with it... but I wouldn't use it to treat sharks/rays. Seems like it would be ok for something like that.
