Escargot for CL

I may have spelled it wrong.... anyway, how many people feed there CL's snails, and how big are the fish and snails. I have some mystery snails for marble size to golf ball size. I was thinking of throwing a few in my sump for my CL to dine on at their leisure.

I feed snails and mussels. Any size loach will eat them.

My small 3" loaches never even tried to eat a 1.5" (Shell diameter) Mystery snail. They occasionally took a peck at thier antlers but that was it.

Do you quarantine the snails? I might give it a try. My CLs used to eat everything. But ever since I moved them to the 180 gallon, they just do their crazy CL dance on one side of the tank. Only stopping for frozen brine shrimp and blood worms.

I don't have to QT the snails they are in my main tank and the loaches are in the sump.
