So I have a 1800 model overflow box and it only has one u tube is t suppose to have two or just one ?

Has anyone ever added a second u tube if they only have one in there ? Thinking of adding a second u tube but I dunno if it is a good idea to

Comes with 1x 1" Tube. If you add two it will draw to much water and the teeth cant keep up with the tubes. It will then allow air into the tube and lose syphon. Been there done tried it all. Either remove some teeth allowing more flow for a second tube or add a second 1800 which is what I did.

Actually mine is a 1.5" tube I have ...... And Yes that the other option I thought about was adding a 2nd box and tieing both drains together so I have only two drains in my sump rather then 4 drains dropping water

You're right they are 1.5"
I wouldnt tie all drains together, it will decrease your flow. All four of mine run down indepentenly. It also allows you to use 4 filter socks (if you use them) lasting longer. Plus they dont produce the flow that they claim.
I didnt want to start hacking teeth outof my mine

Ya no I don't wanna cut teeth out either no seems silly to do that I mean to have two drains in sump not four as I don't have room for two more drains lmao

I don't think that's accurate. Overflows only move the amount of water that overflows into the box. The extra water in the box flows to the outer box and then drains. They have an upper limit, but if the flow is lower it isn't a problem. This is why they simply stop moving water if the pump is off (power is out or you turn it off for maintenance). When the flow kicks back on they keep running.
