I was wondering what people think about Euro bracing? I wasn't sure if I should go with it or not. I like the way that it looks, but filteration is much more limited and the two aquarium manufacturers that I talked to recommended not to drill holes in Euro Bracing, even though, the sales reps said that it would be ok. Let me know.

What size tank? How thick acrylic? Size matters! :D

They said not to and then turned around and said it was ok?

It is ok to drill as long as you stay the length of the diameter of your hole away from any edge.

I love it on my tank! I say go for it.

It allows for much more access room while cleaning. Mine has a hole drilled on each end (from the factory) it for 1" bulkhead used for return lines. And like Chompers said, they are more than a diameters length away from any edge.
