Just got one of these for cheap. Is a sort of present for my dad but its only small still and will most likely be eaten by a catfish If it goes straight out in the pond. My question is can they live in warm water conditions if I were to put it my indoor tank temp around 24 would it be ok. If not i have a spare tank I could set up outside if not to grow it out in. Cheers

The most important thing is o2. If you have an air pump running on there he'll be fine.

Ye but he does swim in the mid water section aswell. Paroles the tank like a little shark, real cool fish. And suppose they could be classed as monsters as they can reach up to 20lb plus.
