European starlings?

Is it legal to take and keep this invasive species? I know in other states people do it. A lot of people recommend killing them on sight so naturally I want to keep one lol
 
Honestly not sure.... laws are funny in that many of them would rather you kill the animals than keep them.
They certainly aren't for sale anywhere I have seen so you would need to catch a wild one or raise one from the egg (not recommended if you do not have experience raising baby birds that aren't seed eaters)

they make good hawk food though.
 
They are not covered under the migratory birds treaty so unless there is some local ordinance, you should be okay. Check with local wildlife officials first though because there may be a law prohibiting owning an invasive species.
