Euthanasia?

My Angel fish badly needs to be out out of its misery. Its been laying at the bottom of the tank for over a month now and I have tried everything to help but it just hasnt gotten better and Im tired of watching it suffer at the bottom. Im wanting to know if there's anything around the house that may be useful and can put the fish to sleep?

That sucks, sorry to hear. I've heard of people using clove oil, but ive never tried it. You could put him in a small container of water and put him in the freezer. Whatever you choose, sorry for your loss. It's always sad to see a fish dying despite your best efforts

Ya I dont have clove oil I read the euthanasia thread. I have heard putting them on ice stops there heart right away. I might have to so that its the only thing I have around the house.

I usually put them in a ziploc bag and right into the freezer.

please dont freeze them..that is not a recommended human method of putting a fish down

if you cant get a holed of clove oil i recommend a sharp knife between the eyes and a quick stab..instant death. ( i found clove oil and my local co-op for 4$ a bottle)
