I bought a pair of baby tiger muskies last week. They were both about 3"-4". I had them in a 55 w/ some baby teminsis and a couple of baby albino bichers. After a few days the larger grew quite a bit. I was feeding them roseys. He ended up eating 2 of my peacocks. So I moved them to 30 by themselves. They have quite an appetite. Last night I walked into my fish room for their night feeding, and there was the smaller muskie sideways in the larger one mouth. He was trying to kill him. I tried catch him and save the lil guy, but no such luck. I think he knew what I was trying to do. He immediately started swallowing the little one. So now I have one tiger muskie. He has grown at least an inch already. They are beautiful. I know how big they get. He will eventually go into my outdoor pond/ the pool has been converted. The old lady wasn't too happy about this but she understands... "Fish aren't our whole life, but make our lives whole." I forget whose signature that is but it is so true. Lesson Learned... Tiger muskies are awesome, just don't put them with any fish that could be a meal.

There are not a lot of suitable tankmates for the Esox really... They would try to eat anything that fit into their mouth... or get smacked around or starved out by one of its tankmates.

Hey Fish on Fire, did anyone ever tell you you look like Pucca minus the pigtails?
