I lost my aro last night don't ask me how he jumped out coz I just don't know the lid was secure n the glass on top had no holes or gaps he must off litteraly hit it so hard that he went through a gap when the glass lifted. He was over a year old and I'm really quite upset. Rip harry u was my prized pet .

I'm sorry for your loss. Same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. One of my silver arowana jumped out, and the lids were still in place. At first, I thought it was eaten by another fish in same tank. I found it a few days late, behind the stand

Sorry to hear. What size at one year old?

I would like to but I was thinking of getting smaller breed like a jardini but I don't want anything that's too aggressive and will hurt my African bush fish any recomendations

Black Aros don't get as big as silvers and are not as jumpy.

Trouble is finding a black in the UK ain't easy or any aro for that matter. And the ones that are available are 3 hours drive away n I don't wanna risk them being in a bag or box that long. Are all arid except silver and blacks really aggressive or could I get a red
