Hiya peeps :D

Im CaNsA, in Liverpool, UK.

A quick tank history

10years ago had a 20 litre cold water tank with a few fish.
6 years ago got a 55 litre coldwater tank and moved the fish into that.
2 days ago i managed to find a mahoosive 550 litre tank for free :D

Fish i have

1 x Chinese hillstream loach
2 x Common sneaky loaches
2 x Orandas
9 x White clouds that have been dubbed "Delta Squad"

Plans,

Well, i need to build a base for the monster tank, ill be doing that after chrimbo and the flat has been refurb'd then moving the 2 loaches and Delta squad into the new tank after the water has settled.

Need to get a filter for the tank, but i have been told diff things. External, Internal etc etc.
Below is a few pix of the tank, and some of a section on the right side of the tank which i believe is for a filter system of some sorts. I would appreciate some more info and guidance about this, if its better to remove it and go for an external that also an option.

The tank needs a damn good scrubbing as it has been sit in a back garden for 6months. I know i need to tidy my garage :) i need to make room for the bike which is currently staying in a workshop 20miles away after getting some engine work done.

Please forgive the crap quality of the pix, i was using my phone, i was in the garage, i was shaking as its -3C in Liverpool right now.

Hi! Welcome to MFK!

Well this has been put back a few few weeks as the landlord is getting new carpets for the flat.
Dunno why every schedule always runs over.....

On the plus side i priced up the wood needed and it comes to £15, pre cut to length.
