I was trying to make room in my 90 for some new fish. So I was going to be giving my wolf fish to a friend but I guess he didn't want to leave and started biting holes in my net and bitting thru bags busting them on the floor.

Has anyone ever had this happen?

Bags are safer for him he's a great jumper so I don't want him banging himself up trying to escape. But anyways he's not going anywhere now. I decided to keep him instead.

Every time I have to move a certain fish it almost seems as if they know that their number is up as soon as I place the net in the tank.

That's kind of what he did. He waited still as can be till I tried to scoop him in and he went ham and started bitting the net. Made a hole the size of a 50 cent coin.

my ace hardware store buckets have lids. I drill air-line holes for long transport.

Buckets aren't hard to find Home Depot has them for about $5 with a lid. But like I said he's a great jumper and will attempt an jumping escape. Last time I had to do that cause a power outage he really banged himself trying to jump

I hate moving fish. Giant danios are the worse. They always seem to know and find really good hiding spots. I always end up having to totally empty the tank before getting them out.

It's just a long game with danio's. Wear them out entirely, then you just get them in the transport media, and put some stress-zyme or something of that nature in there to help and calm them.
