Have you ever had to move a fish because it was too aggressive? My salvini was pretty timid at first but then just slowly started beating up on my severum. I put the severum in my 29 gallon growout from the 55 growout and then the salvini just started beating up my fourline pim. I had enough so i moved some fish around and ended up putting the sal in with 10 tiger barbs in my 29. The barbs are pretty fast and beefy so i doubt the salvini will be able to eat them or bother them much.

I think it worked out well for now though since my yo-yo's needed extra room and i'm sure my growing JD, severum and Leopard Ctenopoma will enjoy the extra space and better water quality.

I've had to remove aggressive fish a few times, most recently a female jack dempsey out of the 125 gallon after it injured a polleni a chocolate cichlid (leading to an infection that led to its eventual death)

i had a JD that would relentlessly beat my FH who was about 1.5" shorter but much beefier. so i traded the jacks, then ended up getting rid of my FH(i just got him back yesterday). Now the FH is in a 55g alone.
I just got rid of a FM that would chase anything and everything that was in his terroritory(the entire tank)
