I know a lot of you guys have tons of tanks ranging from little to massive. Its like an addiction to set up more and bigger tanks. While I was into the fish hobby earlier I didn't get serious until I got my 75 gallon which allowed me to get some more exotic fish and find true fascination. I got my 75 gallon for free when I asked my neighbour who was throwing it away to replace it with a bigger tank if I could have it. Now I'm looking for something even bigger.

What I want to hear from you guys is whats the best deal you scored on a tank?
If you have some helpful suggestions on tank searching let me know as well. I plan on just watching over craigslist for a big cheap tank to turn up. What do you guys think? (Like a 100-150 preferably the upper side)

P.S. not trying to buy one off this site just looking for ideas and stories on how you scored your prized tanks.
 
Craiglist then wait and wait...and more wait for a right time! :)
*I got acrylic 125G tank + sum + stand for 125 bucks.
 
I just missed a deal today by about an hour I didnt respond to the person in time so they sold it. 125 gallon for 50$
 
I got a 93 gallon cube with LED's, Canister filter, Heater, stand, and top for 5 dollars all brand new at a charity raffel for the local k-9 department.
 
I got a 300 gallon acrylic for 150. another 305 gallon acrylic with sump stand, lights and pumps for 600. I got 135 drilled with overflow and stand for 150. 2 75 gallon acrylics for free. a 150 gallon with pine wrapped stand, fx5 filter, canopy and lights for 400 and a 65 gallon for free. I have gotten equipment like fx5 for as little as 110$ as well. just keep scanning, make it a daily or twice daily thing
 
I got a 55 gallon with hood, lights, heater, stand and AC110 filter for $50. And a 135 gallon with stand for $200.

Jordy must have awesome teeth lol.....I have rescued a few fiffty five gallon tanks from the sidewalk.They were doomed for trash pick up yet were in perfect condition....best price ever.
 
I got my 110 Gallon stock tank and 300lbs of holey rocks that come with it free from dfwfishbox site owner when he move. Other than that I got my 1100 gallon stock tank for $100 and the guy even bring it to my house for free.

^where I have gotten a few smaller tanks and my 75 and dang Hungdang with 1100 gallon lookin like true monster fish keeper haha
