Ever see this on your bass?

Curious if any of your cichla's have this. It almost look like a tooth is pushing out but more like a wart or something. I dont know if it is a fungus he developed or if it is just a part of him. This was the best picture I could get but it stick out from his lower jaw about 1/4 inch max. About to name him snaggletooth! Any ideas?

I know exactly what your talkin bout my old mono use to have it..it is like a tooth..but exactly wat though idk..
 
It is growing back towards his throat inside his mouth. It isnt external. I dont know maybe it will fall off one day. It looks just like a wart but seems not to bother him. Thanks guys!
 
i know what your talking about, it has nothing to do with bumping into the glass...it appears to be a single inward growing tooth from appearance, i have noticed it on some of my bass...now i want to see if they all have it lol
 
My mono had this on her mouth also but not to sure what it is and one of my ceara kelberi has it also but almost looks like a calcium build up or bone almost no quite tooth looking i have acctually pulled the kelberi out and looked at him and it is too white to be tooth idk if anyone has more info this would be a nice update to know what it is
