I know exactly what my fish think when they see me.
"Feed Me, we are starving....!"
They even give me a begging dance.

Stingy piece of crap...feed us more

I miss the old days.
fish I had as a kid thought I was great. they even built a castle in my honor.
these fish today though... I'm nothing more than a water changing feeding machine.

No, because fish can't think or feel about something, they are fish lol The only thing on their mind is food. They only see you as the thing that drops the food, you could be a tree branch for all they know.

I've got to disagree with that, brother. Some fish are really pretty smart and I think you may be under estimating them.

As far as what my fish think of me my JD loves me she comes out and watches me when I'm in the room in the mornings, the midas begs for food when I first come in the room as does the betta, the pickerel would eat me if he could but for now he just watches and begs for food, the rck is the same way at the pickerel minus the begging, the baby catfish thinks I'm a giant monster and hides when I'm around, the gouramis, guppies, goldfish, and mosquito fish are indifferent to my presence, and the mollies think I'm a pervert bc I keep catching them making babies.

Yeah i would have to totally disagree! But then again if your keeping plecos then that might explaine ur thoughts

seems like it's either "food" , "predator: flee/hide" , or "invader: chase it away"
