almost every thread i go to read people are getting angry or upset with other members. my question is why!?.. its a forum about fish ppl! monster fish!! hate to say it but.. cant we all just get along?

To be completely honest with you the problems always occur either through people who don't know something and claim they do or through people who think they are experts when they are not. I wish everyone would not fight on here either but IMHO this forum is not that bad, I don't see many people fighting on here or being mean but sometimes it does happen

WOW lol, I never seen anything too bad myself and checked alot of the posts so I'm surprised I never seen anything. I agree that some people can be BRUTAL but in other cases people sugar coat like you said and sometimes people really don't mean something in a mean way and because it's typed out the tone is not noticed and it seems mean. But I don't think there is ever a need to be rude or disrespectful. The first day I got on here I asked a question about what cichlids I could keep in a 60 and some ******* was being really rude and telling me I need to stick to guppies and mollies in the rudest tone, but thankfully someone told them to get lost which is why I stayed on here.
Some people on here wanna act like know it alls. And they like to talk condescending to another member whether they are an ignorant person or not.
And then you have the whole tough guy behind the keyboard complex thing.
Most of the brash, bold, and obnoxious types wouldn't have the stones to say to someones face what they do in a forum.
Some of them probably have the little man complex too.
Yes, there are genuine jerks, who are jerks in person too, but the major majority would never say what they say in your face, or they would be "calling their lawyer" after you broke them down.

i see it all the time and its lame. its a fish community. the best fish community. we should all be kool with each other and try n help other members. even if somebody gives the wrong answer to somebody, you can correct them in a nice manner without being a complete dong face. 99 percent of the members here are awsome! i just love sharring my fish and seeing other peoples awsome collection. from 1 tank to 50 tanks i dont care. mfk is the bomb. just try to ignore somebody when there being an aquarium tuff guy.
I'm a new poster here and so far I haven't seen anything too harsh besides in I don't remember what post but it was a urban aqua scape posting and people were rathe mean about the guy not explaing his concept to there liking when you could tell he was pretty much using translate to write the artical I couldn't understand why it was so nessasary to be rude when the guy was calling the project his baby and a revaluationary work of art if they felt the need to be pushy then why not wait till he posted his reveal I thought though he took a long time most of the time projects in our field take much time this guys
Took eight months I felt it rather rude but I mean to each there own just kinda disappointing I hope when I start my 400 - 600 gallon project there not like that this will be my first major project and a great leap in the a big DIY project and most of the people there are so helpful and it's great to hear them offer there options and hope a few rotten apples don't ruin the bunch sorry for the lack of Peorids kinda ranting on my iPod lol
