They are haveing a blast cruising around and my big girl loves "surfing" in the outputs. scariest part was moving them! But everyone was surprizingly mellow except the male. i had to clip his barb as it managed to get tangled but he seems fine. thought the super fine net would be okay since it was a shallow but wider net, with a very fine netting. worked good until i went to slide him into the new tank and he made a go for me! lil' bugger!

Still need to add sand, and figure out if i want to do anything else for decor but trying to keep it to a minimum until we move.

Looks great! How long have you had your retics, and how large is the tank? And bummer about the barb! Same thing happened to me earlier this summer. I'll be making a rubber net soon, lol!

it's a 120wide, but this won't be their last tank. Just what works until we move and I can build a pond ( this fall hopefully if we find the right place). Ive had them since febuary of this year. My first rays.. started with the male.. and added the 2 females when I saw some nice ones at the lfs. and I am def going to invest in a rubber net from the tackle shop here when we move as we'll have alot of fish to move besides these guys! They've grown alot faster then we anticipated!

Nice rays and pics. Be careful if the small fish are feeders and goldfish as they could harm the rays health long term and MOST rays will eventually eat frozen and pellets.

nice tank, thanks for sharing
