bunch of cichla.. some come and go every week but i have 4 that are always in my tank and i dont think will be getting passed on anytime soon.

they are fed anywhere from twice a day to once a day and sometimes i skip a day.

water temp is kept at 87 and never lower and my ph is so low it will melt the skin off your hand ;)

weekly water changes.. 20-30 percent 2 times a week if i have time, other wise a 40% every week.. filter gets cleaned once a month, at this time i dont do a water change but i will sometimes feed less and i take water from my tank to clean the filter which i then top back off.

trace elements, stress coat and prime is added to my top off water which is topped off ever other day or every few days.. if there is an excessive amount of fish waist on the bottom, i will do a quick syphon or a quick swoop and scoop.

I have 3 small orino-3" (suspect) in a 125 gal.

I have an automatic water change system set up on the tank to change 2 gals. an hour 24/7. That's roughly a 50 gallon daily turn over. I keep the tank temp at 82-84 degrees

I don't add anything to my water

I feed once a day...bloodworms, frozen krill and live feeders once or twice a week.

O.K everybody flame on, let me have it:popcorn::ROFL:

Fatty, I think of it being like eating hamburgers all the time. Apparently the skulls are too difficult to digest as well though I'm not sure how true that is. :)

i feed lots of shrimp once a day, everyday.
temps always around 31 degrees celcius.
about 40 percent water changes every other week or so.

2 - Pinima Temeinis (M) 17'' (F) 15''
2 - Mono (M) 14" (F) 12''
3 - Ocellaris Sex (?) 10'' - 12''
1 - LTSN 17''
1 - Motoro Stingray 12'' dics.

Tank: 150g Acr.
Sump: 200g
Temp: 88.0 most of this summer. I normally go for 85.0 - 87.0 deg.
Ph. 6.2-6.0 or lower always

I vac/w/c twice a week at 75% each. Filter change or clean once a month. Now starting to re think this may need to done twice a month. I use the fresh water straight from the tub to rinse out filters. Occasionally I use the tank water depending on how bad filter is.

Feeding is done three times a week in the afternoon. Sometimes skip 48hrs. Food is shrimp/mussels/trout/bloodworms/blackworms/Canadian Night Craw. I do use Gold fish as I am not able to sustain there feeding with a 100 little guppies. Doesn't really work. I usually only feed live once a month. My main live food is cichlids. (Hybrids/Convicts) but I now have an influx of Jaguar 2'' about 100 so they will be the next new item on the menu.

feeder goldfish are high in copper, fat and low in nutrients... which is not good for your fish
