So a friend and I decided to go to Wal-Mart to check out fish, electronics, and toys. My friend went ahead of me to check out the fish and to see if the MFK card that we placed there a month ago was still there...yeah, it's still there :headbang2 Anyways, when I met up with him, he told me that the girl that was helping a family told them that they can have 5 goldfish in a 1g bowl. *sigh* To my surprise, it was this girl that used to work at the pet store I used to work at! Now...she never worked with the fish or reptiles, she was volunteering her time, and she's also a bit slow (sorry for not being politically correct). BUT STILL :swear:

I agree. People who don't know about fish shouldn't be working for wal-mart taking care of fish. For example, I know I wouldn't want a garbage man doing brain surgery.

it attracks the kids and instead of parents buying a fish they go buy toys, movies and semiviolent games...

Now thats insightful!!!

wal-mart shouldn't carry fish. ever, under any surcumstances.
I agree..they are the worst for caring for the fish.

A guy from Walmart one time and started asking me all of these questions. He said that he would never buy fish from there but he saves lots of money on tanks and supplies.

There tanks are cheap because they're aga. I don't normally shop there but if I need a heater, common meds or something in an emergency I'll go pick it up there.
