any fish that i put in my g/f tank dies and i dont get how. waters clear and tests fine. so what else could be the reasoning. The fish were 8 tetras and and two striped corys.

Test the ph in her tank and the ph of water the fish are in and see if they are the same. One of the shops here uses RO in all their tanks and it makes their ph6 and our tap water is 7.8-8.0 and if you don't aclimate the fish they always die.

you did use chlorine and chloramine remover ? recently read that chloramine is stable so standing water still retains it cant verify the author read it on a water treatment site somewhere

Its an embolism, caused by using cold tap water to replace tank water...

was the tank used for a reptile.. i dont know what you can test for to find out but i know you shouldnt use a reptile tank unless you scrub it out.

what size tank.. and fiter and gravel.. and what is in the tank with them.. like decorations and stuff.maybe a decoration or something is leaching out chemicals that may kill the fish.

Did u recently change ur tank water???

what i do with a new tank is to clean it for the acidic sylicon and then put some water and let it run with a filter for 3 days to 1 week ...

sometimes what I do is treat the water with rock salt. and that should do it
