So cal/ LAX
So it seems like everything is going wrong for my tanks at the moment. I have some weird red algae (Cyanobacteria maybe) growing, my fish are pooping this weird white stuff, one of my Eheim impeller shafts just broke and my Nicaraguan had decided to attack anything and everything that cones to "his half" of the 135.
This thread though is about the white poop stuff. I've noticed it a few times in the past week and originally thought it was some leftover stuff from the occasional night crawlers I feed since it looks like a worm. But this time I noticed that it was my favorite GT pooping it out. It is inconsistent, most if the time I see him poop it's the normal brown-orange-ish poop depending on what I feed. I feed him a very varied diet of hikari carnivore, hikari cichlid bio gold, hikari cichlid gold, hikari cichlid staple, omega one cichlid pellets, southern delight pellets, nls algae wafers, freeze dried krill (rarely, maybe once every 3 months) frozen krill, frozen tilapia, live bloodworms, and the occasional night crawler. I haven't seen any other fish poop this stuff out so is this white stuff an internal parasite or just some natural internal cleaning? Also should I quarantine him?

Looks like hex/spiro. Look up RD'S Epsom salt thread. Good chance it'll fix this
