I didnt realise how nasty these fish can be!

In my main tank (240g) I have 2x Kelberi 'Bahia', male 15" female 13", 2x Piquiti 'Azul', male 12" female 11"
and an 11" Orino, sex unknown.

The female Bahia is the meanest fish I've ever kept! She is the dominant fish in the tank and has now decided she doesnt like my 11" female Azul and wont stop harrasing her!

I've now put the Azul up for sale as I only wanted to grow one of each speices on. Decided to keep both Kelberi though as they are a pair.

Anyone else have these aggression issues between female Bass?
 
Yep, a lot of cichla keepers think orinos are bullies.....nooooope!!! Larger Kelberis are. Especially in groups.

I have actually heard these guys do better in groups. I have only 2, and keep them with a rainbow shark (weird i know) and a plecco. They never bother each other at all. Now drop ANYTHING else in that tank and its either bullied, or eaten lol. That is partly whats keeping me from putting any more bass in there as I like to get my fish as small as possible and watch them grow.
 
My bahias are the meanest cichla I have. They would beat on the snook constantly.
