well today i was puting on my belt for school and i happend to look in my tank and that second my tsn grabbed my bumble bee cat. i ran over and netted him and saw that the bbc had stabed both side fins through the tsn's side of his mouth. i guess it started to hurt because he spit him out and the bbc is still alive. i have seprated(sorry for the spelling) them and they are still alive. do you think that the bbc will live?what about the tsn? I feed them last night and the tsn's stomic was alittle pudgey.im pretty sure that tsn will be ok, so i will be selling him. i am in Virginia Beach if anyone is interested in an evil tsn thats about 5-6 inches.

Ha its not evil its just being a predatory catfish. They both should be ok although bbc may have done a lot of damage to the tsn's mouth as the spines i believe (not 100% sure) have mild toxins in them.
The fish is not evil, he is just in an unfortunate situation. I hope he pulls through and finds a better, more well-suited home. Also, I wouldn't advertise that I had piranha if I lived in Virginia Beach.
thanks for the info but i have asked all of my lfs about them and they said its just illegal to buy or sell them but if you know that its illegal then ill just put him in my grandfathers tank (he loves red bellies) and he lives in west virginia
