Evilution of my low tech planted tank..

my tank almost been up a year now!!!!
.. I was looking threw my albums..and notices you could see the progression of my tank sens i have set it up, low tech cold water tank..no fertilizers no additives for the plants , two 15w florescent bulbs..Plants are Anubis, Pennywort, and java moss.

..its simple because i have less then a shoe sting budget for my tanks..and i have to work with what i have....thinking of doing a DIY co2 to see how it will up the tanks growth.....though the pennywort has only been in a month and grows like a weed.

java fern would be a nice addition maybe a floating plant too because u have lowlight plants

I'm under the impression that all your CO2 would be gone because you have so much surface agitation? Correct me if i'm wrong please. I also want to do a planted but i have one of those overhead filters and the surface agitation is of a considerable amount.
