So today I 'finalized' my 90g planted. I'm at a point now where I want to let it grow for a couple months without my intervention except for water changes (and possibly adding a bunch of anubias if I can find it for a price I can deal with)

And that got me thinking about the 20gal that me & my wife started out with and just how far I feel like I've come from there. So I decided to take a browse through my photo bucket and post full tank shots of all the major steps along the way.

Yeah its just me giving myself a pat on the back, but I'm ok with that:not sure:

20gal 'asian themed' :funny:

Got my 55 set up for the bichirs & pictus cats, couldn't fill it all the way until I fixed the broken crossbrace

Added sand, later added more driftwood

Moved back in with the parents, the 65 was still set up but no different and didn't stay up long.

My first attempt at a planted tank. The plants didn't last very long but it got the ball rolling. The 65 is torn down at this point and most of its wood & rocks are in the 55.

Added my last piece of driftwood

The best my 55 ever looked, this is basically the last setup before I upgraded to the 90.

I'll spare you the first week of changes in the 90gal:p Here was the best it got before I redid the aquascape the other day.

And now I'm here. Wish I had a high quality shot for a finale but it hasn't gotten dark yet:p I'll try and get one tomorrow, I'll be at work until after the lights go out tonight.

Thanks for looking, I know this is kind of a pointless thread, but at least its in the "show-off" section:funny: I don't let myself get proud of things very often, I"ve just never seen the point...but this tank, I'm proud of. I like the feeling of having set up something like this with living things that I'm the sole caretaker of (with a hand every now & again from my wife, bless her and her patience)

Anyways, anyone thats been unfortunate enough to actually read all my threads & posts that ramble on & on, THANKS for all the input & advice.
