So far, I have two AC110's for filtration, however I added some monster fish. The collection in the 150 so far:

1X 7" female JD
1X 9" Male JD
1X 8" Female Jag
1X 12" Male Jag
1X 15" Male Festae
1X 11" Female Festae
1X 14" Red Oscar
1X 9" Female Oscar
1X 5" Red Headed Severum
3X 3-5" Salvinis
1X 6" Venny Pike
1X 10" common pleco

So, needless to say I'm stocked to the max. So, I'm installing MONSTER filtration. I have bulk heads with overflows installed, and have a 60 gallon acrylic sump. I also just purchased a 900 gph in-line pump, 30 LBS of bio-balls, sponges, lavarock, and gravel for media.

Today I cut the 3/4" PVC for return lines, ran and mounted flex, and situation the sump...

If those Jags and Festae decide to pair up, you gonna have a show!

I know! So far, the Festae have been coloring up (both male and female are beautiful. IMO the best looking SA/CA I know of in breeding dress), and the jags have been doing the "dance". Shaking around, puffing up, scooping gravel up and spitting it out in front of each other.

If things get too rowdy I'll stick them in their own tank. But I still like it when the Managuense and Festae bump shoulders. Those two pairs (and the female dempsey) own the tank...

I'll be curious to see how it turns out. I thought my 240 was packed with 11 cichlids! Stocking at those levels with excellent filtration, lots of attention, and some luck can be done.

wait.. i'm sorry.. this is a 150 gallon tank???

I have a 150gallon myself and i'm already worried about having 4 FH 1 Oscar 8" i actually had to remove another Oscar cuz the two were males...

U have a red terror in there too??? I've been reading threads on MFK that they are very VERY territorial and can kill..

All fish can kill if they want too. The key, just like any other pet, is to make sure they are well fed and given attention.

I'll probably get rid of the oscars because I hate oscars, but right now everyone is happy and they have more than adequate filtration.

Good luck, that thing is a beast!.... The sump haha
