Just picked up a new (used) tank today. It measures 8 feet long, 30" wide, and 24" tall, about 300 gallons. I picked it up for a mere 200 bucks. It is all acryllic and has pre-drilled corner overflows and comes with a crappy sump filter that I may end up trashing for spare pieces. All I need to do is get some filter materials, maybe a new sump, a pump, build a stand and buy some heaters. Going to stock it with 1 temensis, a marbled catfish, a silver arowana, 3 cichla orinocencis, and 2 monos. (Already have them.) Can't wait to get this thing filled up, cycled, in the house, and stocked up. Sorry to leave you hanging without pictures, but I will try to get some up in the next week.

Awesome deal. Can't wait for pics.

OMG, you just stole that tank.

I'll be adding a pic soon as I got a new cellphone and it has a camera haha.

Also: Here's my dilemma,
I want to add fish to this tank obviously, but I don't think the orinos are big enough to not get eaten by my 15" marbled catfish. So I want to add my 3 orinos (6-7"), 2 monos (8-9"), and 12" tem to the tank and get them huge while the catfish stays in the 140 and grows still but I would really like the peacock bass to catch up. I will be adding a drip system where the tank is being set up (garage @ new house.) and powerfeeding them so hopefully they will grow fast. Post your opinions please.
