Ex-Cichlasoma Festae - Rio Tumbes

This is my Festae pair from Rio Tumbes. I bought these guys from Dan aka cichlvr. these two are doing great now. I had some bonding issues a couple weeks ago but decided to put them back into the 180 with a few tankmates which include 1 4.5" blue port, and 6-7 umbees at 2.5-3.5" and for some reason the arrangements have turned out for the better with the festae pair. I apologize about the video, there is a section that you can see a nasty reflection. but here they are, male 6-6.5" female is 5.5"

Thank you, did you pick some up too? Definitely great to watch grow out and even better once they pair and spawn. Comparing this pair to my Ecuador pair I can see differences in color but not sure if that is because of different location or just the individual fish.

Thank you bro, I got these at 3" with a few others and they were all supposed to be female.... Goes to show how hard it is to sex at that size

No not at the moment. But I did have this pair in the 75 that the other pair is in with same substrate and ill look for the video and see about posting a comparison thread.
