I just picked up 4 Red Istlanum last week. 3 of them from COA and 1 male from Rapps. The ones from COA are Gmfishnuts original strain and The male i got from Rapps is from my Original strain i sold to George. I hope i can grab a few females from Gatling as his are a mix of Gani's strain and Gmfishnuts, that way i can combine all 3 into one clean pair:) Here up are some pics and a video of my large male and female from COA. the male is 6.5-7" and female is 4.5"

Here are a few pics of the male from Rapps. this guy is 4.5" and gonna be a stud:headbang2 I am keeping this guy for sure. Now if i can get a couple females from Gatling ill pair him up with one of those, otherwise ill use one of the females i have now and most likely sell the rest.. You can already see the nice hump this guy is getting:) I just pulled him fro the 180 and divided him with the second female in a 55 for now and added the larger male to the 180.

I love this species FWP and they are on the C.A.R.E.S list too. I had a big rebular pair and a smaller tangerine pair from Conkel. I bred them both several times, but males killed both females and the fry are viscious to each other. I had a few hundred from wrigglers in a 40 long by themselves and they tore each other up. I want to get more, keep me posted if you sell fry bro.

Thank you very much bro:) I love Istlanums, ever since i got my first pair from Joefatfish!!! Ive never had the greens before but the tangerine are the same as the reds just for your info:) there are only red and greens... And i definitely plan on breeding Red Istlanums so ill hit you up when im dropping fry;)
 
They look real good bro I will defiantly get some females out to you,I just wish that they didn't get hit with bloat good news is that at least some are recovering lost a few though,but when they make a complete recovery you can be sure to expect some bro.

Thank you bro:) it does suck that yours got bloat man... anyway i hope the rest pull thru as i am looking forward to at least one of those females;) stat in touch, i leave for work friday for two weeks. so hopefully that will give the remaining enought time to recover!!

Beautiful pair bro! I have some from Dan also, but when I brought over one male from my buddies house to mine he got bloat :-( he was by him self water temp 83, how do I avoid them getting bloat
