They're starting to get some color in but were very drab when I first got them. They have a 180 all to themselves. All 4 are 6" or a bit bigger. They are pretty aggressive so I have 2 black convict pairs in the tank as targets. So far so good.
Yeah, what makes you say 'Rio Yakqui'? They came from Rapps right? If so, those are probably the 'Rio Tepic' pond beani that he got so many of last spring.
Just pics I've seen of my friends Tepic vs pics of the Rio Yakqui. Either way I'm happy. These do look more like the type at the Sonora Desert Museum which I think is the Rio Yakqui "Sonora" strain. I'll keep calling them Tepic till otherwise proven.
