I made a thread about this a while back asking if anyone had bought any cars from nitrorcx. Anyways I finally gave in a jumped back into the rc hobby. I got a 1/18 madpulse driftcar. It's comes with a brushless system with 2.4GHZ remote and lipo battery and charger. I found some team xray m18 rollers on ebay one is fully hopped up and the other is just a stock m18 with a bunch of tires and parts. I want to know if I win the auction will I be able to throw the brushless system in the madpulse into the hopped up m18? Here's photos of the m18s I bided on ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1388627361.381062.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1388627383.854390.jpg

Not sure. You might want to try the forums on rcuniverse. I just converted my jammin crt x2 to a brushless system this past summer. Never again will i go back to nitro.

What system are you using? I honestly hated nitro that's why I put my rush in storage too much hassle just getting the car to work properly. Besides you can get just as prof romance from brushless as nitro. I've seen plenty of brushless cars leave nitros in the dust.

Oh that's cool I was thinking of getting a mamba system for the xray if the exceed system doesn't fit.

Nice lambo! With advances in battery technology electric has definitely caught up to nitro but some of the 2-3 speeds can hit serious mph and it just sounds cool but with the hassle of tuning it (lean/rich), glow plugs and gas its a pain.

I started off electric and went to nitro but back in 2000 those batteries would last a good 8-10min before a 15-20min trickle charge and that's if the soldering didn't melt off the motor 1st.... I believe in my rc10 I had the green machine LOL. Then years later switched to hpi then OFNA buggies.

Sweet project tho!

I believe it's the set up you have. The car in my video has a lipo battery and it lasts atleast an hour or longer.

Sadly I lost both the auctions to last second bidders. I decided to save up for a lipo ready xray m18.
