Hi,

Would Seachem excel kill snails and/or crayfish/shrimp? I've heard its cause it has copper in it, but I heard the copper is a different kind and shouldnt kill them. I dont know really. Does anyone know??

excel kills everything if you use too much

Yeah I know an overdose can asphyxiate fish/inverts, but I heard the death is related to an ingredient. Well, if you guys use it and have had no problems, I can assume the chemicals in excel aren't harmful to inverts.

I usually WAY over dose excel, and have never had any problems with fish or inverts. This was in high light setups.

Me too.In a tank with nothing but RCS and snails.

I'm pretty sure MTS are immortal... I've had tanks that I take down, drain, and leave dry, but with gravel for months on end, sometimes as long as a year, and the MTS come right back when the water goes back in.
