which part? u called my buddy's story of 2 foot loaches BS buddy.... i was merely defending him. I've seen a 23 inch clown loach personally about four months ago... so 50 cm is not the max size. She was housed with about 20 other clown loaches in an outdoor pond in Singapore. The smallest ones were in the 11-12 inch range, while the largest of course was the 23 incher....with a couple pushing her size.

I don't think that was me. I have never seen one that large, but I can't say whether or not they exist. It would be very rare, but I wouldn't rule it out. Are you sure it wasn't a Royal Clown Loach? Pic is below.

A buddy of mine who is from Jakarta...told me he used to 'catch' clown loaches that were over two feet!!!!!! He said they died easily/quickly once they're out of the water.

This one? I am neither refuting nor discrediting your claim, I'd like to see some evidence though. It would be a truly spectacular sight. I'll do some research.
