I bought an oscar from someone on facebook, it was not eating from the first day so I treated it with API general cure in a hospital tank and treated accordingly and then it started eating and feed for like 2 days then again becoming lethargic and stop eating again. I had put aquarium salt as well in the tank.
It has a sunken belly . api general cure could Have taken care of parasites so what could it be now?

the strangest part is the fish has its mucus / dirt sticking to its body. I had cleaned completely and made the bottom of the tank clean so whatever it is its from its own body. I'll attach some pics. please tell me what is that thing is it its slime coat? and how to treat it
I've attached the pics . especially the head has lot of dirt like substance sticking to it.

It's possible the salt is irritating the Oscar. Do a water change and don't add the aquarium salt and hopefully that helps.
