Excited or Nervous I don't know!

Well yesterday I went to sign my papers to enroll in Air Force ROTC. I am have excited and half nervous, but I am really looking forward to it. I did four years if AFJROTC in high school and LOVED it. So now I actually have a commitment once I do all the field training this summer as long as I qualify and make it in. I wasn't sure if I really wanted to go through with it because it is such a big commitment, but I just reminded myself that I would rather regret doing it then looking back years from now and regret not doing it. So if all goes well I will be a 2nd Lt. in the Air Force 2-3 years from now depending on how my scheduling goes with school. I really can't wait to experience it and get into the world (I am 20 years old).

Also, my mom agreed to take care of my fish while I am away .:headbang2
 
Congrats on taking up such a big commitment, and by the sounds of things it seems like you could stand to have a good future with them... so best of luck and stay safe...

I remember going to sign up to the RAF. I was terrified but excited at the same time. It is a quick way to branch out on your own in life. I hope your training is as fun as mine was, basically being paid to go to college.

I hope you enjoy it a lot and have a long and fulfilling career. Good luck:)
