Could a continuous current in the tank exhaust fish to death?like a 30 liter/min in a cylinder tank with outlet at the bottom.

eehh?! i have alot of flow in my tanks.. currently running a a fx5 and a 285gph power head connected to my u.v. on my 120 wide without a problem

i dont think it can harm your fish much.. the return flow from my sump is retty strong and it dosent bother my fish at all..

big big

Well..."big big" doesn't help too much:ROFL: Do you know how many gallons? Your water pump is pumping out 480g/hr. which is pretty strong. Is this pump being used as part of a sump filter or is it going directly into the tank?

:banhim: for BIG BIG.

 Thats like going to get wood for a DIY tank stand and you tell the Guy BIG BIG, when he asks what length your looking for.

ok ok not so big but same same the pics in this link:

3943 liters capacity but use only 3208 liters, filtration tanks included .

Main tank is circular creating a vortex .
Pumping from sub surface of the third and last filtration tank and releasing it in the main tank.

i think that currents actually make ure fish grow faster. how strong they are and how they are positioned in a tank will do the diffrence if a current is pushing lengthwise down ure tank the probability is that your fish will want to eat more. (burning there food faster because of there constant swim agianst the current) This will result in more ammonia/Bio load but they will grow faster.
