So I have had 5 exodons in a 24" X 18" X 18" tank for about 3 weeks or so. Yesterday i found on Exodon at a LFS in a tank full of baby red's. I bought said fish and put him in with the 5 others I have. Everything seemed fine lastnight when I left for work. Today i come home to find the new fish hiding behind the heater and looks to be picked apart on his sides pretty badly. The new fish is the largest of the 6 in the tank...... Any ideas? Is it not a good idea to mix them?

Correct, not a good idea to mix them. Not saying your tank can handle it, but I would add them in 5 packs or more. Going in alone is suicide!

by the way thanks for the insight. The problem i have now is word on the street is the Exo's are out of season so no one has more than like 1 exo in stock.. I guess I'll just have to wait it out till when they come back into season.
in my experience five is not enough, I kept 30 for a long time in a 125, but when friends did like 6-10 they would end up with 1 in the end!
