Was wondering who would be the runner up for most hardcore tetra after xodon paradoxus?

What do you mean by hardcore? Voracious eater? Predatory?

yes, aggressive predatory piscivore. I am wondering if any other smaller tetra's exhibit similar characteristics. if so which would be number 2 in the tetra group.

Mexican tetras are up there (take a look at those teeth), but I think they are larger than exos.
Sailfin tetras behave more like cichlids than tetras, so they are pretty cool.

Rummy nose are pretty savage eaters, but otherwise peaceful. I’m pretty sure most tetras are aggressive eaters.

I guess most interested in what tetra would be the most aggressive small fish/Fry eater.

Serpea can be viscous for their size

Pretty sure Congos also would fit the category.
