Can I put a exodon paradoxus in its own 10 gal tank with good hiding spots and good filtration?

It would be a poor choice. They are a schooling fish that react best in group of 12 or more. I would use a minimum 40gll.

You can put one in there as long as you have good filtration and nothing else, but just one. Not the best choice of stocking as they become twitchy and not the mini-beasts they are when not kept in shoals.
