Probably among the most aggressive fish I’ve ever kept. Im interested if anyone has kept them with anything else successfully? I had them with red belly piranhas and pacus in the past and they did fine. I’ve read that they can max out at 5” but I’ve never seen any much bigger than 2”. They’re incredible fish to watch in an aquarium. So yeah, anyone have luck keeping them with anything other than themselves?

A while ago I kept them as dithers with red terrors and pictus catfish haha

I’ve got some as dithers with alligator gars, bichirs and a Jardini. They’re fast as hell. But the Jardini is Like a Mack truck chasing down a sports car.

I was thinking about taking them out of my largest tank and putting them in a smaller tank with this one eyed beat to hell wolf fish that I’ve been nursing back to health. But there’s no way I’m going to catch them again in the big tank, so I might as well just go get some new ones. They’re cheap cheap at Petco.
