Exodon size difference ?

Okay so I found someone close to me 2 hr drive that has some exodons at a good price but the only problem is that they're only 1.5". 90% of mine are around the 3" mark. Been debating if I should risk it or not. I'll be going down there for a concert so it'll be an excuse. Would you risk it or not? What are the chances that mine will kill the new smaller ones?

Hope you have a heavily planted tank otherwise they will get picked off one by one surely but slowly. Coming from experience

Last time I had them...I had a group of about 25 all the sizes were about the same but there were a couple runts that you could tell were .5-1 inch smaller and they disappeared within 4-6 weeks
