I have about 16 exodons (don’t seem to be schooling unless I come near the tank or they are feeding) they usually hide behind the drift wood other than the few that seem to be in charge. I also have 2 pepper corys, 2 sterbai, pleco, algae eater, oto, and 5 bumblebee catfish. I think I may have provided to many hiding spots but everything is going well. Just wondering if the Exodon do not school do to all the hiding availability?

How long have they been in the tank? They might just be exploring and such because it does have a lot of hiding spots. It is a solid tank too. Appreciate the cats

They are more of shoalers, and will usually not tightly move together unless threatened.

Thanks kolton13 . Deadeye only about 6 months with fish. When I feed them it’s the best they seem to like beef heart the must but I try to keep their diet varied. So they do have great color.

CheesebOy and SandNukka15 sounds good I’ll add more and already have a power head ready to go. Should I remove some of the other fish before I add more ? I also had a temp question as I am in California and it’s hot and on fire so the temp can sometimes get around 80f I was thinking the temp might be slugging them down a lil. Thanks for all the help so far! Much appreciated any info.

I would recommend adding a power head to add current aswell as an air stone, I have 28 exodons in a 75 gallon with a 1500gph powerhead and they seem to like it. Good luck man!
