How do I breed these suckers??

I would bet just like any other tetra they're egg scatterers, so get some Java Moss and a decent sized group with lots of space.

i think i remember reading something like this. the only recorded breeding was by some girl in the 60s or 70s, whose tank was filled 60% with java moss and other mossy plants. eventually she got eggs. not worth it IMO

If was only done once, and that was some 30-40 years ago with minimal effort, then it could be done blindfolded now, eh? Typical tetra spawning techniques is all that you'll need.
