I have done tons of research and looked through all the threads about them. Am set on getting a swarm this weekend.

One question though... The tank I am putting them in has a 2.5inch rubber lip Pleco. I know they should be kept alone, but do you guys think he will be ok in there with the Exodons? He has plently of hiding spaces.

Tough call but I would say no it won't work. Armor is too weak.

I had about 20 exos in a 30 gallon tank a few years back, along with a common pleco....I never had any issues.

He will be fine man. I kept mine with a Morrowi catfish that is 15 years old lol, never bothered him. I am getting 20 more this weekend too.

there is no definite answer to this question. so if you want a cut and dry "yes" or "no", youre SOL.
if done properly, exodons can be kept with certain tank mates, however, that doesnt mean you should do it. only that its "possible". i know someone who has a pet snake that he lets his toddler play with. so sure, babies and giant snakes "can" be housed together, doesnt make it a smart thing to do.

your best bet is to be responsible and keep them separate. wheater that means re-homing the pleco, or not picking up the exodons.

i dont mean to be a thread steeler but where are you guys getting them. I have been looking for months and have not found anywhere i can get some.

Thanks for the blazing fast response guys. No worries. I can just rehouse the Pleco. I have somewhere I can put him. Definitely want the Exodons.

Alex @ AE Aquatics...but i just bought all of them lol...sorry

It should be ok.

Re: bitteraspects comments- no matter what combination you have, you always have to watch to make sure no one's getting picked on. You just don't know what you're going to get... I've had tanks where I've had to separate aggressive neons.

Here's a tank where I've had exodons mixed with wimple piranhas and a fahaka:

Eventually, I'll probably have to separate the fahaka, but it has been working for quite some time now.

It's actually very common to keep Bucktooths and Whimples together. I've seen it done several times. but yeah the puffer needs to go but you know that already.
