Exodons for sale in NYC?

Anybody know a store I can buy them from? I don't want to buy online b/c of the shipping and possibility of not picking up the package on time.

And how many can I stock in a 55g with only exodons?

stocking is all relative to the amount of work you are going to put into it.
if you are just going with a basic set up, with no additional care, you should not do more then 25. however with more filtration and more work put into the tank, you can pack quite a few into the tank.

Haha that's good, I'm sure I can't afford 25 anyways unless I find someone throwing away their tank and selling them for $1 ea

well in that case, get 10. 10 is the safest small shoal i would suggest. ive seen smaller shoals work in some cases, but its not a good idea.

My exp w/a shoal of Exodons in a 55 gallon:

I put 15 exodons in a 55 gallon years ago. They lived in harmony for a few months then the dominate ones started killing the smaller or weaker ones. Decided to introduce a flowerhorn to turn the exos into dither fish. Then the FH slower eat all the exos haha
