food
cost
how should i set up the tank
tank mates if any
how many in a 55
will they eat live fish
and any thing else i should know about them

prefers soft water
pellet, fish filet, meat, feeder fish, flakes
usually $5 each bulk
You could easily do 100 in a 55 you just need to have plenty of filtration
I am going to be buying some soon but when I had a small shoal they ate a small koi fish within minutes. These are hands down the most entertaining fish next to a huge shoal of red belly piranha. However these fish are much more active and less timid than piranha. If I had a 55 gallon tank I would definitely pack it full with exodons.

Exodon patadoxus are amazing fish. I would not put 100 in a 55 that's crazy. Put maybe 30 or 35.
